In case of violation of these rules, the ads can stop on your site and block your AdSense account. Despite the fact that Google Adsense prefers to cooperate with web publishers in resolving compliance issues, Google Adsense reserve the right to block accounts at any time.
If an account get suspends due to a violation of program policies, this Web Publisher gets a ban from continuing to participate in the AdSense program.
Google Adsense has a right at any time to change the rules of the program, and, according to the General Terms and Conditions, the obligation to review new versions of the rules and adhere to them lies with you.
Invalid Clicks and Impressions
Google counts only those clicks on ads that perform by users who are really showing interest in the offer. All ways to artificially increase the number of clicks or impressions of Google ads are strictly prohibited.
These include, in particular, manual clicks or impressions triggered by them, the use of special programs and tools to automatically perform clicks and initiate impressions, the use of third-party providers, which include payment for clicks and viewing, automatic viewing and exchange programs, as well as other fraudulent programs.
Please note that it’s forbidden to click on Google ads links on your own site for any reason. As a result of a violation of these rules, your account may get a ban.
Requests to click on ads
To create the best conditions for users and advertisers, AdSense program policies prohibit web publishers from asking site visitors to click on ads and trick them into doing so. AdSense web publishers can not do the following –
- Ask users to click on Google ads using phrases such as “click on an ad,” “support us,” “visit these sites,” and other similar phrases
- Draw user’s attention to ads using arrows and other graphic techniques
- Place misleading images near ads
- Artificially draw attention to websites containing advertisements by mass mailing and intrusive advertising on other websites
- Pay users for viewing ads and performing searches, as well as offer fees for such actions to third parties
- Place misleading labels over Google ad units, such as “Interesting sites” instead of “Sponsor links.”
Adsense Policy For Blogger – Site Content
The Google search engine offers wide access to a variety of content. However, AdSense publishers can place Google ads on sites that meet their content requirements.

There is no permission to show Google ads on sites with the following content:
- The propaganda of violence, racial intolerance, and propaganda against an individual, group or organization
- Adult pornography and information
- Hacking computer systems and programs
- Illicit drugs, drugs, and supplies for their use
- Insulting the religious feelings of believers; obscene expressions;
- Gambling and relative information
- Information about programs that reward users for clicking on ads or offers, performing searches, browsing sites, or reading letters
- Redundant, duplicate, or irrelevant keywords in the content or code of web pages
- Content or design that misleads users or manipulates in order to increase the ranking of a site in search engines, for example, PageRank of a site
- The sale and advertising of weapons and ammunition (e.g. firearms, combat knives, stunning weapons)
- Selling or advertising beer and spirits
- Sale or advertising of tobacco and tobacco products
- Selling or advertising prescription drugs
- Sale and advertising of duplicates and imitations of designer goods
- Sale and distribution of term papers and other student work
- Any other illegal content that promotes illegal activities or violates the rights of others.

AdSense publishers need to comply with the following quality guidelines for webmasters at http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html.
The site and ad serving requirements
Sites that display Google ads must be user-friendly in structure and should not contain any pop-ups. Especially you have no permission to change the AdSense code or the standard ad format unless Google permits it.
- On sites with Google advertisements, pop-ups are prohibited that interfere with site navigation, change user preferences, and start downloading files.
- Add AdSense code to the web page without making any changes to it. AdSense program members can not change the ad code, features, orientation, or method of displaying ads. For example, it’s forbidden to customize your Google ad so that when you click it, a new browser window will open.
- No permission to the sites and third parties to display ads, the search box, and the Google referral buttons as a result of the operation of an application, such as a toolbar.
- It is forbidden to include the AdSense code in software applications.
- Do not try to load web pages containing AdSense code with programs that can trigger pop-ups, redirect users to irrelevant websites, change browser settings and otherwise interfere with browsing the site. You must ensure that no affiliate sites or ad networks direct users to your AdSense code page using such methods.
- A web publisher does not have the right to impose any duties and make demands on end-users, inviting them to use a referral. Don’t solicit email addresses from end-users using AdSense referrals.
- Publishers who use online advertising to drive traffic to pages showing Google ads must comply with the spirit of the Landing Page Quality Guidelines. For example, if you advertise for sites participating in the AdSense program, ads should not mislead users.
Adsense Policy For Blogger – Ad Placement
AdSense offers several ad formats and ad products. Web publishers are free to experiment with advertising by observing the following rules.
- On each page, you can place no more than three ad units.
- You can place a maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes on a page.
- In addition, you can place up to three link blocks on each page.
- In addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units, one page can accommodate no more than three referral units.
- On the AdSense search results page, in addition to the ads Google displays in search results, you can place only one block of advertising links. No other ads may be shown on this page.
- Do not use Google ads and search boxes in pop-ups or emails.
- Other page elements should not block ads.
- You cannot place Google Ads on pages without context.
- Google ads may not be placed on intentional pages to serve ads, regardless of the relevance of their content.
Competing Ads and Services
Google Adsense does not allow the placement of search boxes and Google ads on sites, that contain other ads and services designed using the same format and color scheme as Google ads and search boxes. These tend to mislead users.
You have the right to sell the advertising space on your site to other advertisers, but you must make sure that their ads in appearance cannot be confused with Google ads.
